Who we Are and Services Offered
The ANMC Radiology Clinic is located on the first floor of the ANMC hospital next to the Emergency Room. Our Ultrasound Department is accredited through the American College of Radiology and our Mammography Department is accredited by both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the American College of Radiology. The ANMC Radiology Department provides a number of services, including:
- General X-ray
- CT Scans
- MRI Services
- Ultrasound Services
- Bone Densitometry
A common misconception is that a MRI uses radiation. MRI does not use radiation. It images through the use of a powerful magnetic field.
Another common misconception is that equipment used at ANMC is not the best quality. This is false. ANMC has the latest CT Scan equipment in the state, and our equipment uses low-dose radiation techniques to produce images.
