Common Misconceptions
A common misconception is that a MRI uses radiation. MRI does not use radiation. It images through the use of a powerful magnetic field.
Another common misconception is that equipment used at ANMC is not the best quality. This is false. ANMC has the latest CT Scan equipment in the state, and our equipment uses low-dose radiation techniques to produce images.
