Auxiliary Patient Services is a special service program aimed to benefit inpatients and other customers who are served through the mission of ANMC.
Auxiliary Patient Services
The Auxiliary Patient Services Coordinator manages the program. A pool of 100 or more volunteers supports the program and activities. The ANMC Auxiliary Board of Directors provides oversight of the program and allocations of all proceeds. The Auxiliary reports to the governing body of the hospital annually.
The Craft Shop
Managed and staffed by Auxiliary volunteers, the Craft Shop serves to provide a source of cash income for Alaska Native artists and crafts persons by receiving works on consignment and selling to the public. It is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The craft shop receives a 10 -20% commission for each item sold. All proceeds are dedicated to Auxiliary projects.

More than 1,000 pieces of traditional Native art were purchased and collected through the ANMC Auxiliary, Inc. This collection is known as the ANMC Auxiliary Heritage Collection and is maintained and managed by the ANMC Auxiliary.
